Horseback Riding & Trails at Mine Made Paradise Adventure Park
TRAILS OPEN YEAR ROUND! Breathtaking scenery in the beautiful Appalachian mountains of east KY. Hundreds of miles of trails being developed on 43,000 acres. For a map of the equestrian trails and other trails in Knott County, click here.
Ride through valleys, wooded forestland, mountains, open areas and along creek beds. Primitive camping available at trailhead. $15 per trailer/camper/tent for up to 4 people. (One lodging unit per site). Additional people $5 each. Hot showers available for campers. A premium full-service campground is now open for business.

KY Stampede Endurance Ride was held on October 13-14, 2012 at KNOTT COUNTY at MINE MADE PARADISE PARK.
Trailhead near ATV Training Center on Elk View Drive off Hwy 1098. Trail well marked. Great for both wagons and horse riders. Creek crossings, both wooded and open fields, streams and breathtaking scenery. Open to the public.

From Lexington: Take I-75 to I-64 east, exit onto the Mountain Parkway and follow to Highway 15 exit at Campton. Follow Highway 15 to Highway 80 east. Follow Hwy 80 east to the Highway 1098 intersection at Soft Shell. Follow Hwy 1098 to Elk View Drive. Follow Elk View Drive.
From London: Take the Daniel Boone Parkway east (this turns into Hwy 80 east at Hazard); follow Hwy 80 to the Highway 1098 intersection at Soft Shell; follow Hwy 1098 north to Elk View Drive.
